Line Stopping Services
Need to replace a valve? Or a bad section of pipe? Maybe you need to
re-route a section to accommodate site modifications. Line stopping is
the ultimate solution. By inserting a plugging device inside the line,
the contents can temporarily be held back, while you perform the
necessary work downstream. By using a by-pass configuration, continuous
flow of the contents can be maintained, so the system can operate
normally. Using folding-head technology, line stops can be performed
even more economically than ever before.
Pipe Freezing Services
A cost-effective and non-intrusive method of holding back system
pressure in a section of piping. Freeze chambers are installed over a
short section of piping and injected with liquid nitrogen or CO2. After
careful monitoring, an ice plug is formed inside the pipe. Pipe freezing
can be an excellent alternative to line stopping in certain
applications.
